Delete Your Account

This page explains how to request deletion of your Pet Moods account and what data is deleted, retained, or deactivated when you do so.

Fastest Method: Delete in the App

  1. Open the Pet Moods app.
  2. Sign in to the account you want to delete.
  3. Open Settings.
  4. Tap Delete Account.
  5. Confirm the deletion request.

The in-app delete flow calls the account deletion endpoint immediately and is the primary supported method for removing an account.

Alternative Request Method

If you cannot access the app, email drewcecala@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account and include the subject line Pet Moods Account Deletion Request.

What Is Deleted

  • Account profile data associated with the deleted login.
  • Saved cloud-linked pet profile records tied to that account, where supported by the active backend services.
  • Cloud-linked care timeline, reminders, symptom logs, and mood history associated with that account.
  • Subscription entitlement state stored specifically for the deleted account.

What May Remain or Be Retained

  • Locally cached data on your device may remain until you uninstall the app or clear local app data.
  • Billing and transaction records may be retained as required for accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or legal compliance.
  • Operational logs and security records may be retained for a limited period where reasonably necessary to detect abuse, investigate incidents, or comply with legal obligations.

Retention Period

Account deletion requests are intended to take effect promptly after confirmation through the supported in-app flow or a verified support request. Certain billing, fraud-prevention, and security records may be retained only for the limited period required by law or legitimate operational need.
